Designed with intentionality, simplicity, and the grounding energy of the forest, our dedicated, private retreat venue at the Brueys Lodge is crafted for leaders, teachers, and visionaries seeking a refined, spacious, soul-stirring setting for transformative experiences.
From May through to October, the entire 11-room lodge - accommodating up to 36 guests - is available exclusively for your group, offering the privacy, space, and serenity needed to create a retreat that feels deeply aligned with your vision and gives your guests a place to exhale, land, and reconnect with themselves and nature.
WE ALSO OFFER CURATED INTRODUCTIONS WITH LOCAL EXPERTS TO HELP ENRICH YOUR RETREAT WITH CULTURAL EXPERIENCES SUCH AS:

KATE FIRST FELL IN LOVE WITH YOGA OVER 25 YEARS AGO.
She then spent a significant part of her career creating community centred yoga and wellness experiences to expand the global brand, lululemon, across Australia and Asia. Work that both deepened her yoga practice as well as her connection within the yoga and wellness community worldwide.
Kate’s personal and professional experiences within this industry and global network, combined with her long-standing love for Japan, have shaped the vision for Zen No Mori.
Together with her husband Adam (aka. the Brueys) Kate continues to practice yoga all year-round with local teachers, grounding this space in community, mindful living, and genuine hospitality.
At Zen No Mori, every detail, from the equipment to the flow of the spaces, has been thoughtfully considered to support teachers, leaders, and wellness hosts who want to bring transformative experiences to life within this stunning forest-framed sanctuary in Japan.
